A wire tracker, also known as a cable tracer or toner probe, is a tool used to identify and trace wires or cables within a network or electrical system. It typically consists of two components: a transmitter and a receiver.
The transmitter is connected to one end of the wire or cable that you want to trace. It sends a signal, usually in the form of an electrical pulse or tone, through the wire. The receiver is then used to detect the signal along the length of the wire, helping you trace its path.
