Descriptions
100 pairs Siemens MDF disconnection blocks 71 (TP-1401-100) are used for both voice and data networks in the central office, cabinets and in private networks applications. With their reliable IDC (Insulation Displacement Connection) contacts they are the interface between the truck cable and drop cables. In addition to protection of personnel and equipment against over-voltage disturbances, the distribution blocks support quality inspection and diagnostic processes.
Normally the 100 pairs disconnection blocks are used on the vertical side of the Main Distribution Frame (MDF), which is used for the termination between external lines and jumper wires. It consists of 20 pieces 5-pair modules. The block is suitable for digital transmission up to 2.048 Mbit.
Our 5 pairs over-voltage protection magazine ( TP-1503-5, you can visit details here ) can be inserted into the block, with the function of protecting personnel and equipment against over voltage.
Disconnection block also known as terminal block, tag block or distribution block
