Wen Ku: Cancellation of Roaming Fees Benefit 780 Million Users in China

Director of the department of information and communications,Wen Ku said that from July 1st this year, the "roaming fee" has been formally implemented. All the local and provincial traffic in the packages have been switched into the national traffic, and no applications by users are needed.

“According to preliminary calculations by relevant enterprises, 780 million users are expected to benefit from this policy,especially for the users who travel frequently or have high nationwide traffic demand”Wen Ku said.
